Discover Rome: Private Tours, Experiences & Lazio Region Highlights
If you're planning to visit Rome, it's best to give yourself at least three days to explore the city. We recommend breaking up your days to avoid exhaustion. To fully experience the Vatican, including St. Peter's, the Vatican Museums, and the Sistine Chapel, you should allot a full day or at least a half-day. Ancient Rome, including the Colosseum, requires another day, and another day is needed to explore the monuments of Rome, such as the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, and Piazza Navona.
It's impossible to see all of Rome in a week or even two weeks. You need a lifetime to discover everything the city has to offer. However, you can definitely see many of the highlights in just a couple of days.
We suggest private tour options for groups of three or more, as they offer a higher level of service for roughly the same cost as small group tours. Our small group tours, which usually include hotel pick-up, are also an excellent and convenient option.
