Overview

The Castelli Romani area is a district just outside of Rome that is home to tows like Rocca di Pappa, Frascati, Albano, Marino, Grottaferrata & Castello Gandolfo, the Pope's Summer Residence which boast exquisite gardens. The area is one of the most historic and beautiful in Italy, one that we feel far too few tourists visit. For those that do care to join us here, they are in for unexpected pleasure.

The area boasts some of the best vineyards in the Lazio region and is also notorious for the water which has a slightly fizzy and almost sweet taste. The Romans stored their wine here in under ground caves and the towns and castles scattered throughout the area are truly beautiful.

This tour includes hotel/rail/port pick up and drop off as well as wine tastings and a light lunch.

For those looking to understand Roman culture and learn more about the Roman countryside and organic wineries in the area, this tour is for you!
