Overview

Outside of Rome on the Mediterranean sea exists a small and very beautiful town called Fregene. Here, the sky-high pine trees line the roads and opulent Roman villas with exceptionally beautiful gardens line the charming streets. Cafes, bars and wonderful shopping is to be had here, though what makes Fregene so exceptionally beautiful is the Mediterranean sea itself.

The coast here is dotted by what the Italians call "Lidos" and the most beautiful of all of them by far is the Albos Club This is an exclusive beach resort that is frequented by the Roman VIP crowd as well as many Hollywood stars.

In fact, Fregene is known as the Roman Beverly hills and it is where the famous Italian film director Federic Fellini lived. Like many who come to Fregene, he too had a love affair with the town and invited many of his friends to come and enjoy the atmosphere of Fregene.

On this tour, we share the Fregene experience with you and take you to enjoy a beautiful lunch at the Albos Club overlooking the sea.

This is a unique tour of a very unique town that far too few visitors to Rome ever get to experience. In addition to organizing an extraordinary adventure to the town itself we can also organize horseback riding on the coast depending on the time of year!

This is an experience of real Roman culture and life, for many Romans to this day come to enjoy the beachees and relaxing atmosphere of Fregene, where you can sit under the cypress trees and gaze at the beautiful blue Mediterranean sea.
