The island of Dino is the biggest of the Calabrian islands and is situated on the Tyrrhenian Cosentino, just before the town of Praia a Mare. Its size is a little more than 50 hectares, its tallness at the most astounding point is around 100 meters. The island in the past has seen battles and fights; the Municipality of Praia gained it in 1928 and afterward sold it to an organization of Avvocato Giovanni Agnelli.
