Overview

Porto Santo Stefano is a beautiful and very colorful seaport town which is part of the region of Tuscany, about 90 Km, north of Civitavecchia, Rome's largest port.  It is located in the district of Monte Argentario, in the Province of Grosseto and offers visitors to the area a stunning chance to see an area in Italy with striking geography and views over the Mediterranean sea.

The area is famous for the fine fish restaurants, wonderful olive oil, luxury yachts and a very laid-back feel.  

The resort is located on the northwestern promontory of Monte Argentario, a little more than 40 kilometres (25 miles) southeast of Grosseto, about 10 km (6.2 mi) southwest of Orbetello and about 12 km (7.5 mi) from Porto Ercole.
