About Villa Montagnola
Villa Montagnola is a traditional Tuscan farmhouse in Sovicille, within the green landscape of the Sienese Montagnola. Originally dating from the beginning of the 20th century, the farmhouse has been restored using reclaimed stone and traditional materials, while retaining its characteristic rural architecture.
The property is positioned independently within a 36-hectare estate surrounded by woodland, including holm oaks and oaks, with paths and unpaved roads extending through the grounds. A 500 sq m flowered garden surrounds the house, with a large lawn, benches, sunbeds and a hammock for outdoor relaxation.
Villa Montagnola accommodates up to 8 guests in four bedrooms. The sleeping arrangement includes two double bedrooms, one double bedroom with a divisible bed and one twin bedroom with joinable beds. The property has four bathrooms, all with showers, including two en-suite bathrooms.
The farmhouse is arranged over two floors connected by an internal staircase. The ground floor includes a spacious entrance hall, dining room with ornamental fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, large sitting room, two double bedrooms, bathrooms and a laundry room. The first floor contains a double bedroom with divisible beds, a twin bedroom with joinable beds, two en-suite bathrooms, a relaxation room and a children's playground room.
The kitchen and sitting room have French windows opening towards the outdoor areas. In front of the kitchen is a furnished gazebo with a table and garden chairs, together with a barbecue. A table tennis area is located nearby.
The private kidney-shaped swimming pool measures 11 x 7.3 metres, with a depth between 1.10 and 1.80 metres. It features salt purification, Roman steps, internal and external lighting, sunbeds, umbrellas, small tables and an outdoor hot-water shower. The pool overlooks the wooded landscape of the Sienese Montagnola and the Piana di Rosia.
Villa Montagnola is located approximately 9 km from Siena, with the railway station about 11 km away. The property is also situated along the area of the Via Francigena, with San Gimignano, Volterra, Montalcino and other Tuscan destinations within the surrounding region.
Parking is available within the property for up to six vehicles. The property is fenced and pets are permitted.
