The Overview
Villa Amore is an glorious estate in south-eastern Tuscany located on a winery, surrounded by vineyards and olive orchards 365 degrees around the property. Indeed, the Villa Amore even for the most un-romantic types, inspires "amore" - a.k.a - LOVE! A love for life, yourself, your partner, your family and your friends!
The property is located about 20 minutes driving from the very popular town of Cortona, made famous in the film "Under the Tuscan Sun" and Arrezzo which was featured in the movie "Life is Beautiful", though aside from popular films that have created a lot of interest in the area, the lesser-well known town Castiglion Fiorentino, is located 5 minutes away. A lovely and interesting town to come and explore during the spring and fall months with a lot of liveliness and fun happenings, restaurants who are truly authentically Tuscan that cost a fraction of the price as some of the more touristic places.
Needless to say, the landscape unto itself is spectacular and it on the grounds of this property where we have opened up the Italy Education Center in Tuscany,
The Italy Education Center is composed of over 160 hectares of land, organicl gardens and vineyards, olive orchards,, various "Casali" and the olive mill, flower refinery and natural flower gardens. VIlla Amore, is situated in the Gaggioleto village, which is a noble family name, unique to this region. It took the energies of many generations to create these accommodations - their orgines dating back to 1100. The restoration was done to respect the original architecture and keep the rustic charm of the villas but offer all the modern day amenities.
This said, there are wonderful accommodation option for families and groups of friends traveling to Tuscany. Set high overlooking the Val di Chio' just north of Cortona - about 8 KM east towards the town of Castiglion di Fiorentino - in the countryside - totally away from the crowds and in the true Tuscany as it once was, you have to look no further.
This is a place where authenticity - beauty - luxury - and love all meet thanks to the wonderful energetic female family members who have taken not only the time - but the wisdom from their community and forefathers and family - to cultivate the estate - not open to the public as of yet - but open to those who want to develop a story of what it means to be "real" - "authentic" - "vibrant" and abundant",
So, yes - renting a villa here on this estate is one in the same of being willing to recognize one's one humanity (faults and all) and to be able to do that is - nothing short of exquisit, so that is why staying here - being a part of our community and helping us to recognize and be part of yours is all in one part of the same.
The village sits within the hillside and is surrounded by a well designed green area with access to hiking trails in the beautiful Tuscan countryside. The pool area is located in a scenic location within an olive grove and offers unforgettable views of the landscape and town of Castiglion Fiorentino. The large common pool area has a large swimming pool which is 14 x 7 meters and hydro-message bath for up to eight people.
The villa and all apartments are equipped with: satellite TV, laundry area, dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, hairdryer, telephone, Wi-Fi, heating and air conditioning.
