The Cedri Riviera (Riviera of Cedro) takes its name from the Citrus fruit unique to this area which grows on this magnificent stretch of coast in the province of Cosenza in the region of Calabria. There coastal region and mountain villages which make up this area include many that are also part of the Parco Pollino, Italy's largest national park.

The beaches, unique food, beautiful towns both along the coast and in the mountains make this a great vacation destination and one that can offer families a great alternative to some of the more costly coastal destinations like the Amalfi Coast.

Not only this, this area is wonderful for families, adventure seekers and those looking for a little bit of romance.

Dino Island is a great alternative to Capri with many grottoes. Not only this Arcomagno is one that is a must visit since the movie James Bond came out.
