Santa Maria di Castellabate is beautiful seaside town, just south of , one of the first coastal towns to greet you on the . It is the marina of Alta - the (higher village), which is set further up in the hills, also in a spectacular setting!

When we visited here, it was sunset and we could see in the distance the islands of , and of course the further north, however what we noticed here was the beautiful white sand beaches and hardly any tourists at all.

This was by far one of the most romantic and beautiful towns we visited on the and one that we will be returning to again more and more regularly, for it was truly beautiful.
