Lago (Lake) Srino is a small lake located in south western Basilicata approximately 20 km from the coast.

It is a popular destination during the summer in southern Italy because of its elevation, almost 800 meters above sea level and many Italian travelers who come to the coastal areas like Maratea and Praia a Mare during the summer months come here fo the cooler temperatures during the summer months.

However, among locals all year long this destination is quite popular among Italian tourists who come here for skating, skiing and leisure activities.
