Overview

This is a one-of-a-kind experience we offer for those looking to experience a little bit more than just the 'Amalfi Coast', Capri and Pompeii which most visitors coming to the area wanting to see. On this tour our English speaking driver guide will meet you at either the rail station or your hotel to showcase the best of Naples and the terrific northern coast and neighborhoods of authentic 'Napoli' which few travellers to Italy never see.

We start by heading to the area of Naples known as Chiaia, which is an expansive bay with a beautiful promenade offering impressive views towards the islands in the bay of Naples like Ischia, Procida and Capri.

The Chiaia district of Naples is home to the Ovo Castle (Castel dell'Ovo - in Italian). You can read about it on the city of Naple's website.

The castle is one of the most impressive sea-palaces in Italy. Should you wish to go inside and up to the top, it might be a highlight. Should not, we'll continue on to the height of Naples where there is an expansive view over Mt. Vesuvius and you will be able to admire this incredible city in total comfort and realization with your host.

Naples offers countless castles, gorgeous views of Mt. Vesuvius and numerous landmarks, incredible outdoor sculptures and dozens of other fantastic sites. Prior to heading up the coast (just slightly north of the city center) to a neighborhood known as Posillipo, you will witness homes which seem to be carved into the cliffs! You have to see it to believe it!

Heading up the coast, we continue onto the beautiful Borgo Marechiaro which quite literally translated means Village of the Clear Sea. Truly, the sea is so clear here and not only is the town a jewel unto itself, it is home to some of the best pizza in all of Italy at Ciciotto's famous pizzeria which dates back to 1942. It's practically an institution until itself and there is no better place to try authentic Napolitano pizza in Italy than in Borgo Marechiaro!

Here, you can savor a pizza, enjoy a walk around the town before we head onto your final destination on the Amalfi Coast or back to Naples in the afternoon.

This is definitely a unique experience that we offer, that can contributed to your understanding of the area and showcase some very unique, totally non-touristic areas on southern Italy, that are still lived and loved by the locals!
