Depending on how you are getting to Naples we will come and get you at your point of arrival in Naples or even collect you from your hotel or the port in Naples.   Upon meeting you, we will begin our descent to Positano along the beautiful Sorrento peninsula.

Our final destination this evening will be Positano, where you will have time tonight to check into your hotel.

This evening, when you are ready, we have arranged a very special and romantic dinner for you in a beautiful restaurant with a spectacular view overlooking Positano and we will come to get you at the hotel and also take you back after your dinner is over so you don't have to worry about enjoying the wonderful wines of this area this evening.

Day 2

Campania, Amalfi Coast

This morning after buffet breakfast at the hotel we will meet you in the hotel lobby to begin our private tour of the Amalfi Coast. 

The Amalfi Coast  is notorious for the very difficult roads and hair-pin turns, so taking a tour here with a professional English speaking driver who is familiar  with the area is the safest way to see the area. Our tour also includes a wonderful lunch in the spectacular town of Ravello, which offers gorgeous views over the coast.

The tour includes various locations along the coast. Highlights of this tour include: Ravello, Positano,  Conca Dei Marini, Praiano, Atrani, Amalfi, Vietri Sul Mare, Sant Agatha Dei Due Golfi And Many more.... We visit a number of villages and towns that are not even on the map, some of them are so small and houses and communities that are built right into the cliffs of the coast. 

One of the highlights of this tour is lunch in the beautiful town of Ravello, which is famous for the gardens and spectacular views over the coast.

Day 3

Campania, Capri

Ferry to Island of Capri from Positano

This morning after breakfast you can take the ferry over to the island of Capri from Positano. We will arrange the ferry tickets for you ahead of time, so you can let us know when you would like to head over.  It takes about 40 minutes to arrive in Capri from Positano and upon arrival you can explore the island by either foot or take the public transit around the island. There are no cars from off-island allowed on the island and so transportation is limited.

Once on Capri you can visit the Blue Grottoe, experience the great shopping and enjoy a wonderful lunch.

In the afternoon return to Positano for you last evening and dinner at your leisure (not included).

Day 4

This morning after a wonderful buffet breakfast at the hotel, we will transfer you back to your point of departure in Naples where our services will conclude and it will be time to say Arrivaderci Italia!

Hotels

1. Hotel Sovestro in San Gimignano was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made the first portion of our journey very stress free. They made us feel like we were part of their family. I would recommend it to anyone and would specifically ask for it if we were to make a return visit.

2. Hotel La Baia in Monterosso was nice and it's location was very good especially for us older folks humping luggage from/to the train station.

3. Hotel Lucchesi in Florence- what can I say expect FANTASTIC. The rooftop view at sunset is well worth it. Again very friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend it to everyone.

Wine Tour

Money well spent. We had a great time overall. The driver Mario was OUTSTANDING. He had lots of local knowledge as well as about winemaking. USE HIM AGAIN!!!

The various wineries we visited on tour:

Altesino- fantastic and they were not cheap on their pouring. Great experience.

Azienda Agricola Patrizia Cencion Sloaria- Again a great tour by one of the owner's daughters. We felt like we were the only thing on their mind although there were other customers there. A great way to complete the day.

Again we had a fantastic time and are very appreciative of everything you booked for us. We wish you continued success and if our travels should bring us back to Italy, we know who to call.
