Our BEST LIFE EVER series of retreats this year begins on Italy's Amalfi Coast, one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world and one of the most magical places on earth! 

Our experience includes incredible natural wonders - like hot spring and gorgeous gardens that visitors to this area never see.  We will be visiting the thermal springs including those found on the  Island of Ischia  on the Amalfi portion of the trip and then Satrunia and San Fillipo on the Tuscany portion.  Most of these natural healing places in Italy are off the beaten tourist track and quite difficult to get to, unless you know how - which we do! The waters found in these natural oasis  help to heal the body and rejuvenate the spirit, though in addition to these natural wonders we will have the experience to enjoy crystal clear blue seas on the Amalfi Coast and around the Island of Capri and visit some of Italy's most beautiful gardens like the Villa Cimbrone in Ravello.   

In addition to such fantastic natural wonders that very few people ever get to visit in Italy, we will also be visiting incredibly interesting places of culture and antiquity like Pompeii,  Mt. Vesuvius and many of the gorgeous towns and cities along the Amalfi Coast itself.  The entire experience is grounded with delicious local food (which is always organic and healthy) and English speaking guides who can bring the history of these beautiful places to life!

We will be staying in a magnificent location with fantastic views towards the island of  Capri  and the Bay of Naples, home to the islands of  Ischia, Procida and numerous others including the most famous island of Capri with its Blue Grotto.

This morning upon your arrival in Naples (no matter where that is - airport - hotel - or train station) wherever you need to be met, we will be meeting you to bring you to our exclusive villa location on the world's most beautiful stretch of coast, Italy's Amalfi Coast.  Along the way, you will be able to stop for photographs at a variety of scenic points.

Upon arrival at the villa, you will have time to relax, settle into your room, enjoy the pool and get to know the other group members.

This evening, pool-side at 18:00 we will have an orientation meeting and you will enjoy an Italian "Apperativo" with a variety of local specialty cocktails to be enjoyed (both alcoholic and alcohol free). Here, we will discuss the upcoming weeks many activities ahead and have a get-to-know you session followed by a welcome dinner.

Our welcome dinner this evening is going to be held in an exclusive restaurant with some of the finest, local and organic food from this area including swordfish, lemon risotto, italian style "sushi", vegan specialties and foods that are prepared with ingredients that are produced directly from the garden. ​

This morning you will enjoy a buffet breakfast in paradise at the villa. Following breakfast, we depart for our full day private tour of the Amalfi Coast, stopping en-route at a number of gorgeous towns. 

In Ravello, you will have a chance to visit the town which is one of the best known in Italy for ceramic works.  Dozens of local artisans show-case their works here.

In addition to visiting Ravello and the gardens, as an exclusive part of this tour, you will also get to visit some of Italy's most exclusive hotels - the Villa Caruso and Villa Cimbrone.

In the afternoon we head back to the villa for relaxation and in the evening, for our fabulous dinner and overnight stay.

 

Day 3

Campania, Capri

This morning after an awesome breakfast made completely from local products in the area, we will depart for the Island of Capri. 

Be prepared for an epic adventure in which we tour the entire circumference of the island by boat, which is a breathtakingly beautiful experience!  After we tour the island, you will have the chance to visit on foot and experience world class shopping, all the towns have to offer, gardens and of course the exquisite beaches of Capri. 

In the evening we return from Capri to Sorrento where we will head back to the villa. 

We are in for a special treat this evening with dinner at a local family run trattoria!

Day 4

Today will be a day at leisure and time to experience the local area, head into Sorrento or just do whatever you please to do.

For those that prefer more adventure or would like some guidance as to the best of the best, there are many various tour options available, please ask us!

Day 5

After breakfast this morning we are going to the ruins of Pompeii, Italy's most famous archaeological site. Accompanied by your guide, you'll see fascinating places such as the famous Forum, Thermal Baths, Lupanare brothel and Vetti's House with its beautiful frescoes.

On a fateful summer's day in 79 A.D., Mt. Vesuvius erupted, spewing volcanic ash over the prosperous city of Pompeii. Unaware of the imminent danger, most people continued on with their daily lives and as a result the entire town and around 20,000 of its inhabitants were buried under tons of ash and pumice. Almost 2,000 years later, you have the opportunity to explore the site of this famous disaster and see first-hand the houses, streets and public buildings miraculously preserved by the volcanic ash.

Expect to receive VIP skip-the-line-tickets on our private tours of Pompeii and other sites throughout Italy!

Early departure from the villa this morning for the incredible Island of Ischia!

The island of Ischia is considered by Italians to be like the "Hawaii" of the Mediterranean.  It's a completely tropical and magical island covered with natural hot-springs and natural thermal waters that have incredible health benefits.  

Today we will explore the island and visit the Nitrodi natural springs where there are over 100 natural pools of different spring water. 

We’ll return at 19:00 from Ischia to Naples and transfer back to the villa for dinner and overnight. 

 

Day 7

Today is a day dedicated to total relaxation before our farewell dinner.  

For those that would like to attend, there is a dance this evening in an exclusive private villa like you have never seen before!  A high-end gala, The Fall Ball, will be taking place in Florence and will be sure to impress!  Exquisite costumes, music, dancing, socializing, the Fall Ball will be the can’t miss highlight of the week.

As the Fall Ball will run late, to around midnight, we ask that you have all your things ready to go for the next morning after this evenings activities.

It's going to be an AMAZING farewell breakfast this morning for those who are not going to continue with us to Tuscany. 

Either way, no matter where you are heading today if you are leaving us, we make it as easy as possible for you and take care of transportation to get you back to Naples or Rome and it will be time to say goodbye!

We just returned from our most wonderful vacation to Italy and wanted to first thank you for putting together such a wonderful trip, and second to provide some feedback for the future.

Hotels

1. Hotel Sovestro in San Gimignano was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made the first portion of our journey very stress free. They made us feel like we were part of their family. I would recommend it to anyone and would specifically ask for it if we were to make a return visit.

2. Hotel La Baia in Monterosso was nice and it's location was very good especially for us older folks humping luggage from/to the train station.

3. Hotel Lucchesi in Florence- what can I say expect FANTASTIC. The rooftop view at sunset is well worth it. Again very friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend it to everyone.

Wine Tour

Money well spent. We had a great time overall. The driver Mario was OUTSTANDING. He had lots of local knowledge as well as about winemaking. USE HIM AGAIN!!!

The various wineries we visited on tour:

Altesino- fantastic and they were not cheap on their pouring. Great experience.

Azienda Agricola Patrizia Cencion Sloaria- Again a great tour by one of the owner's daughters. We felt like we were the only thing on their mind although there were other customers there. A great way to complete the day.

Again we had a fantastic time and are very appreciative of everything you booked for us. We wish you continued success and if our travels should bring us back to Italy, we know who to call.
