Acqui Terme is a small town in northern Italy famous for its natural springs in the province of Alessandria, Piedmont. The hot sulphur springs found here have been famous since the time of the Romans and used to rejuvenate the Roman soldiers and army as they made their way throughout modern day Europe during its time of conquest.

Today, the town draws mostly European visitors who come to experience the wonderful healing properties of the waters and to enjoy the food and wines which the Piedmont region is so famous for.

Definitely this town is one to make a visit to during your time in Piedmont!
