Overview

This full day tour of Florence is a great option for those who have little time in Florence and want to experience the very best of what Florence has to offer in one day. On this tour, we meet you at 09:00 AM or earlier if possible at either your hotel or the rail station and we begin with a tour around Florence taking you firstly up to Piazzale Michelangelo which offers breathtaking views of Florence and the Boboli Gardens. Time here for photos and an espresso in one of the most picturesque positions overlooking Florence.

From here, we head down to Santa Croce church where many of Italy's most important artists and literary figures are laid to rest and here you will begin your walking tour of Florence's historical center including some of the most important piazzas and monuments in Florence, like Piazza Della Signorie, Palazzo Strozzi, Piazza della Indipendeza, Santa Croce and Dante Alghieri's home. Along the tour you can also have time to pop into shops as we make our way to the Accademmia Museum where Michelangelo's David is housed. VIP skipe the line tickets to by-pass the often increibly long lines to the Accademmia Gallery will be waiting for you and you will enjoy a guided tour of the Accademmia gallery with your knowledgeable English speaking guide.

Folloiwng our tour here, we will head to PIazza del Mercato which is known for some of the most gorgeous leather-goods that are locally produced by Tuscan artisans and you will have some free time here to look around as well as to break for lunch.

Following lunch we head to the Uffizi Galleries where you will have your VIP tickets waiting to experience these galleries which are some of the most extensive and important in the world for Renaissance Italian and European art.

In the evening, we take you back to your hotel or the rail station where it will be time to say Arrivaderci!
