Ortisei is one of the most beautiful towns in the Dolomite mountain region, located in the Val Gardena with numerous recreational opportunities and stunning landscapes to experience.

Most people are coming to enjoy the fantastic hiking in the Mt. Seuc valley, which is a totally pristine and glorious area to experience for adults and children alike. It's an absolute MUST DO when visiting the Dolomites.

Within the valley, there are easy trails for children where animals like horses, cattle and goats roam free in the valley.

There are numerous dining opportunities in generally stunning positions within the valley like the Mt. Seuc restarant.

It can take an hour to walk to some of the cabins or less, depending on how far you want to go, though this is an opportunity when visiting the Dolomites, you do not want to by-pass. Families particularly will enjoy this experience.

The town of Ortisei itself, is a great base for exploring the incredible Dolomite mountain range. It is filled with great shops, wonderful restaurants and cafes. It's a generally wonderful place for active travelers who want to enjoy some of the most interesting mountain ranges in the world.
