About Villa Cortavalle
Villa Cortavalle is immersed in the beautiful Tuscan countryside near Cortona, a medieval town on the Tuscany–Umbria border. Surrounded by a scenic landscape, the house offers accommodation for 8 guests, with high-quality finishes, wooden ceiling beams and functional furnishings.
The property has two floors and a panoramic tower. The main entrance leads into a spacious living room with an open fireplace and large French doors providing direct access to the garden. A brick arch separates the living room from the dining room, which leads to the kitchen. The ground floor also includes a bathroom with a shower and a double bedroom with an en-suite shower bathroom.
A wooden staircase leads to the first floor, where there are three double bedrooms and two bathrooms with showers. One bedroom has direct access to the garden via an external stone staircase. Another wooden staircase leads from the first floor to the panoramic tower.
The well-maintained 1,500 m² garden features a dining table protected by a gazebo, suitable for outdoor meals overlooking the surrounding landscape.
A few steps from the house is the rectangular infinity swimming pool, measuring 11 × 5 m, with a variable depth of 1.20–1.50 m. The pool is lined with PVC, uses chlorine purification and has ladder access. The surrounding stone-paved area is equipped with umbrellas, sunbeds, a table and an outdoor cold shower.
The location provides access to Cortona, Lake Trasimeno, Montepulciano, Pienza, Perugia, Arezzo and other destinations across southern Tuscany and Umbria. Florence and Rome can also be reached by train from the Cortona area.
