The Overview
Villa Stefano is a great property for groups of friends, artists, large families, foodies and wine lovers! It is a place to sit back, relax and enjoy spectacular views over the incredible valleys. Close to Cortona, Arrezzo and many other famous places in Tuscany and Umbria, this property truly does make a spectacular base for your stay in the area.
The location of the property is 7km from the charming village of Castiglion Fiorentino (Arezzo). Before the renovation which took place in 1998 the two structures used to be an old farmhouse and an old barn. After the renovation the buildings were transformed from an abandoned property into three independent villa accommodations. The name of the farm house has been changed to now be called “Casa Fufigna”. The “Casa Fufigna” now consists of two unites each offering two bedrooms and two bathrooms. What was known as the barn has now been transformed and named “Il Granaio” this is a very charming independent unit consisting of two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Surrounding the lovely property is a beautiful designed garden created so each unit can enjoy its private space and have access to the large swimming pool. The swimming pool is located in the center of the property convenient for each unit to access. Situated in the garden is also a barbecue available to use as desired. Additionally, there is a garage that holds parking spaces for three vehicles. The villa is immersed in the Tuscany countryside and can accommodate 12 to 16 people comfortably. Every apartment is equipped with a TV, Wi-Fi, heating, dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, hairdryer, and telephone.

Casa Fufigna 1:
This unit of the villa has a full living room offering a pull out sofa bed, cozy fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, one bedroom with two twin beds or a double bed, a bathroom with soaking tub, and a master bedroom with an in suite bathroom. Guests can access the apartment from the private garden. The private garden has a gazebo and table that holds up to 6 people allowing guests to relax while enjoying a delicious meal outdoors.
Casa Fufigna 2:
This unit of the villa also has a charming living room with a fireplace, well equipped kitchenette, a double bedroom, second bedroom with two twin beds or a double bed, a bathroom with a tub and shower. Guests can access the apartment by the external stone staircase which has a small patio. This unit also offers a small private garden area with a table for 4 people and a gazebo.
Il Granaio-
This unit of the villa is the largest of the three consisting of two floors. The space is divided into first floor with a living room with a sofa bed, fireplace, large well-equipped kitchen with dining area, a bedroom with two twin beds or a double and a bathroom with a shower. A wooden staircase takes you to the second floor where you will find a double bedroom with an in suite bathroom. There is a separate entrance from the bedroom on the second floor consisting of a stone staircase that leads you directly into the garden. In the private garden there is a small gazebo and table that holds up to 6 people.
