The hotel was built in the rustic side of the Virginia farm-house and maintains the old bricks architecture, typical of the farm-house at the beginning of the ‘900.
The Overview

The Estate was created by renovating a series of run-down farm buildings belonging to Virginia Ferrero, well-known producer of Barolo wine at the beginning of the XXth Century. The Estate boasts a hotel with swimming pool and a Restaurant with two spacious dining rooms. The hotel is located in the old Estate, and has thirteen bedrooms with various comforts such as air conditioning, satellite TV, big-size safe, telephone, WI-FI internet connection, fridge bar, panoramic terraces, disabled access and lift.
Each bedroom is customized to reflect specific aspects of various wines: the paintings and the Provençal tiles of the bathrooms evoke the fruity, floral aromas of individual wines. The restaurant can cater for up to 60 guests. Panoramic windows on two sides give diners splendid views of the rolling hills of the Barolo Vineyards, and on a clear day the Alps can be seen in the distance. Outside the dining room there are open air terraces which reach to the vineyards and are perfect for romantic summerevening dinners.
The Virginia dining hall on the ground floor with its suggestive atmosphere can hold up to 180 people. Our wine cellars stock up to 500 hundred international and local wines at a controlled temperature to guarantee the correct temperature conservation for each bottle. The covered arcade which links the restaurant to the hotel and its terrace which stretches from the Virginia dining room and surrounds the hotel complex both contribute to giving it the air of a medieval cloister.
A hydro massage pool and solarium have taken the place of its heyday garden and fountains and the quiet and secluded garden is an ideal spot for relaxing with a good book. The hotel pool built with local Langhe stones is an ideal place to cool off during the summer months. There is a car park with 40 places and CCTV security. The Antico Podere caters for all your needs: a break in the renowned truffle region of Barolo, a romantic week-end, a candle lit dinner, a get-together with friends , business lunch or any a special occasion.
