Overview

Deep in the heart of Tuscany, experience one of the essential Tuscan delicacies, 'Tartufo.'

Join us for an entertaining morning learning how to recognize and search for truffles with a truffle-hunting expert and an English-speaking translator. Join the truffle-hunter and their dogs on a walk through the woods in search of the aromatic truffle, which we will hopefully discover during our time together!

Following our morning walk, you will head back with our local hosts to our Tuscan kitchen, where you will learn how to use and store truffles and some of the wonderful recipes that Tuscan chefs and cooks make using them.

You will sample several dishes and products using truffles. Following our product sampling, we will then sit down to a wonderful four-course lunch with wine and other Tuscan specialties.

Appetizers: Tuscan salami and cheeses, Bruschetta, and snacks.
First Course: lasagna with meat sauce.
Second Course: Roast meat and vegetables.
Dessert: Cantuccini with dessert wine.

NB: Wear suitable clothes for walking in the woods - flat, comfortable shoes and trousers or jeans.
