Porto Cervo, Sardegna

Porto Cervo is a newly constructed, super luxurious port town on the Costa Smeralda which was built by Prince Karim Aga Khan who is considered to be one of the world's wealthiest men.  

During the summer months, you can find some of the largest, most prestige yachts here, however other than bosting a number of seasonal, incredibly expensive shops there is really not much to do in Porto Cervo except for stare at yachts.  There are many more, far more interesting towns to explore on the island both by land or boat, however Porto Cervo is a departure point for the Madalenna archipelago and a fun place to do some people watching some of the world's wealthiest!
