This lovely holiday villa in the Chianti is located at only 1 km from the village of San Casciano Val di Pesa, a nice medieval hamlet between Florence and Siena, renowned for its excellent Chianti Classico red wine. Owned by a local family, the villa is positioned in a secluded location, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves which offer charming views and a peaceful setting. The villa, 300 sq.m., is on two floors. On the ground floor one has access to the house through a furnished porch; there is a sitting room, a very large dining room, a full equipped kitchen with terracotta tile flooring and a painted beam ceiling, as well as a huge open fireplace dominating one side. From the hall stairs lead up to the first floor; halfway up there is a toilet. On the first floor there are 3 double bedrooms, 2 twin bedrooms, 2 bathrooms fitted with bathtub and shower and 1 bathroom fitted with a shower. The villa has a large garden with swimming pool and a barbecue. On request local chef for typical Tuscan meals or catering service, as well as for cooking lessons. Further facilities: internet connection, dishwasher and washing machine. This villa with swimming pool in Chianti is in an ideal location for all those seeking peace and quiet, far from the madding crowd, but also a perfect point of departure for visiting the beautiful attractions of the Chianti region as well as most Tuscan art centres such as Florence (15 km), San Gimignano (37 km), Monteriggioni (40 km) and Siena (53km).
