The Villa

Originally an abandoned stone structure, the property was carefully restored over a period of six years. Natural materials and traditional techniques were used throughout the renovation, allowing the villa to retain the warmth, texture and character of an authentic Tuscan residence.

Hand-cut local stone walls, centuries-old Tuscan oak floors, exposed wooden beams, handmade brick flooring, classic herringbone patterns and hand-painted ceramic tiles preserve the spirit of the original house. Antique and vintage furnishings, reclaimed family fabrics and individually designed decorative details give every room its own distinct personality.

The house also retains the charming imperfections of an old country estate. Walls reveal the texture of age, windows are full of character and every opening frames a different view of the surrounding countryside.

Although the atmosphere is deeply traditional, modern comforts have been thoughtfully incorporated throughout the property. The villa is fully air-conditioned and also includes central heating, mosquito screens, high-speed Wi-Fi, modern kitchen appliances and generous living and dining spaces.

Indoor Living

The main lounge is furnished with comfortable sofas and features a large traditional fireplace, a television with DVD player and a library filled with books. At the centre of the villa is an impressive open-plan living and dining area with soaring timber-beamed ceilings and a relaxed Tuscan atmosphere. The adjoining Tuscan-style kitchen combines traditional character with modern functionality. Villa Dolce Vita offers six individually designed bedrooms, each with its own colours, furnishings and character.

The accommodation is arranged across different areas of the house, making the property especially suitable for families and groups who wish to spend time together while still enjoying privacy.

One of the principal bedrooms is decorated in warm peach tones and features a super king-size bed measuring two metres by two metres. A decorative swan detail sits above the bed, while traditional Tuscan wooden flooring, antique furniture and handcrafted accents create a romantic and welcoming atmosphere.

Its private bathroom includes a shower and an impressive round Villeroy & Boch hydromassage bathtub. The bathing area is partially screened by a handmade silk divider, adding a sense of privacy and theatrical elegance.

Another romantic bedroom features a handmade canopy bed created using reclaimed family fabric. The room is complemented by elegant vintage furnishings and a spacious private bathroom with an exceptional two-metre shower and double showerheads.

A softly decorated double bedroom is furnished with an antique iron bed and a distinctive cupboard that was once used as a shop display. Two south-facing windows fill the room with natural light, while the bathroom includes a hydromassage bathtub. This is the only bedroom whose bathroom is located immediately outside the room rather than within it.

The blue bedroom can be arranged as either a double or twin room. It features traditional Tuscan wooden flooring and a cheerful en-suite bathroom decorated in yellow and orange tones, complete with double showerheads.

The remaining bedrooms are equally individual and welcoming, with antique furnishings, comfortable beds, en-suite bathrooms, handmade details, natural fabrics, original Tuscan flooring and views across the surrounding countryside.

Between the first-floor bedrooms is an elegant lounge furnished with a small round table and two distinctive armchairs. From here, guests can access a small terrace with spectacular views over the Tuscan hills.

The villa also has a carefully designed vegetable garden with attractive semicircular planting beds. Depending on the season, guests may be able to enjoy fresh vegetables, herbs and other ingredients grown on the property.

The pool was created from the site of the estate's former animal watering basin, preserving an element of the property's agricultural history while transforming it into a beautiful contemporary feature.

With its generous length, the pool is ideal for serious morning swimming, leisurely afternoon laps or simply cooling off beneath the Tuscan sun. Pale stone surrounds, Mediterranean planting and panoramic countryside views create an elegant and peaceful setting for relaxation.

As evening falls, the pool and surrounding gardens provide a beautiful vantage point from which to watch the hills turn shades of amber, rose and gold.

Wellness and Fitness

Villa Dolce Vita includes a spacious 100-square-metre wellness and fitness studio designed for exercise, relaxation and private treatments.
