The Hotel Palazzo Piccolomini is lovingly restored ancient palace that was the home of Pope Enea Silvio PIccolomini, Papa Pio II created for the pontifical family Piccolomini at the end of the 16th century.

The Overview

The recent restoration has given new splendor to the town of Orvieto which is world famous for its history which dates back to the times of the Etruscans.  The Hotel Palazzo Piccolomini has an enchanting position, for Piazza Ranieri is plunged into the historical-artistic charm of the medieval quarter.

The palace is within easy reach of Piazza della Repubblica (shopping area) and of the Cathedral and it is near to the modern system of elevators and escalators which from the parking Campo Boario, at the foot of the plateau, take you straight up to Ranieri, in the heart of the old City.
