La Casa sul Mare is a relaxed beachfront retreat in San Pietro in Bevagna, just steps from the Ionian Sea.
The Overview
It is a beach house in San Pietro in Bevagna, set just a few steps from the Ionian Sea. It is a place made for slow mornings, long lunches and easy days that begin and end by the water.
The atmosphere is relaxed and informal. Guests can swim before breakfast, spend the afternoon beneath a cabana, share fresh seafood over lunch or head up to the rooftop for a drink at sunset. There is no need to rush here. Days tend to find their own rhythm.
La Casa sul Mare welcomes up to 13 guests across five rooms: three double rooms, one triple room and one quadruple room.
Each room has its own bathroom, air conditioning and a private outdoor area, either overlooking the garden or opening onto a terrace. The interiors are simple and comfortable, with natural materials, warm colours and thoughtful details inspired by life along the Mediterranean.
The rooms are designed to feel private and peaceful, while the shared spaces make it easy for guests to come together whenever they choose.
Food is a big part of life at La Casa sul Mare.
The menu is inspired by the coast and by the ingredients found across Puglia. Fresh fish and shellfish are served raw, grilled over an open flame or prepared in simple seasonal dishes. Local produce, Mediterranean flavours and traditional recipes are at the heart of the kitchen.
Guests can enjoy long lunches on the verandah, light snacks throughout the day, local wines and cocktails by the beach. Dinner is served in the evening, when the heat softens and the house settles into a slower mood.

The sea is only a few steps from the house.
Sunbeds and cabanas are set among the sand dunes, with clear water close by for swimming. Some guests spend the whole day by the beach, moving only for lunch or another drink. Others prefer the shaded pine area, where hammocks and sofas offer a quiet place to read or rest.
The restaurant terrace is open for alfresco dining, while the indoor dining room provides a cooler space during the hottest part of the day.
In the late afternoon, everyone seems to find their way back toward the sea for aperitivo and sunset.
