Hotel la Spiaggia is situated directly across from the sea in Monterosso al Mare with wonderful views towards the Mediterranean and less than a 2 minute walk into the centre of town. 

This is a delightful, clean and very bright property with wonderful, airy and well appointed sea-view rooms. This is one of the Italy Vacation Specialists favorite hotels in the CInque Terre national park for a number of reasons.  These include the location of the hotel, the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms and the beach directly in front of the hotel.  Surprisingly, very few properties in the Cinque Terre actually offer sea-view rooms, however at La Spiaggia, you not only are assured of a clean room and wonderful breakfast, but we can often guarantee you a sea-view room here.


 

The Hotel La Spiaggia is owned by Andrea Poggi and is managed by his family.  It's a well-run and well-appointed three star hotel in Monterosso Al Mare that is well frequented by Italian travellers who return here year after year to enjoy the delightful white sand beach directly in front of the hotel.  Only 200 meters walking distance from the Hotel La Spiaggia is the historic centre of Monterosso where you gain access to the trails the Cinque Terre national park is famous for.

All along the promenade directly in front of the hotel are wonderful cafes and sea-side restaurants that serve a delicious assortment of sea-food.  Monteosso is certainly one of the most beautiful towns in the area and hotel La Spiaggia is one of our top picks in the town considering the size and sophistication of the rooms and the fact that almost all of the rooms are sea-view, which ironically Monteroso does not have many of.

Andrea and his family are also wonderfully accommodating and can make your experience in the area unforgettable with their unlimited knowledge and hospitality.
