Making a Point to Take Time out for Romance – Italian Style
June 2017 Newsletter

Happy couples make it a point of noticing even small opportunities to say “thank you” and taking time out for each other. While the early months of a relationship can feel effortless and exciting, successful long-term relationships involve ongoing effort and compromise by both partners. Building healthy patterns early in your relationship can establish a solid foundation for the long run and traveling together can often strengthen your bond. Travel is a big part of my life and one of the things I love to do most is traveling with my partner. Together we have been all over Italy, Malta and Europe. Along the way, we have had countless adventures and we have ended up getting very lost on our journeys, often arriving into villages very late at night when we couldn’t find a single restaurant open, so we ended up going to sleep starving! These adventures however when we look back although very frustrating at the time, now make us laugh like crazy when we recall them and our travels have become part of “our story”.
It is because of our experience and explorations ourselves here in Italy and the Mediterranean over 14 years that we have been able to organize some of the most terrific romantic holidays for couples coming to Italy and we are able to recommend places that are truly romantic outside of the major city centers. Places like the island of Ponza (very close to Rome) the Ninfe Gardens, Maratea & Lerici – all of which you read about our website under Destinations in Italy.
Many of these destinations, people who contact us have often never even heard of and yet part of the joy in designing custom itineraries for couples is that we love to propose and connect those coming to Italy places they might never think of but which are truly romantic. I know them personally and have felt the MAGIC of these places on my own skin and I believe like love, magic is illusive. You don’t know how to describe or even know love until you’re in it!
In this month’s newsletter we’d like to encourage you to take time out for your loved one and really connect with them. Whether you come to Italy or not, make it a priority to set aside some time to experience something new with your partner and I guarantee you’ll notice the difference!
