Is renting a car in Italy worth it? What Travelers should know.
- Driving in Italy isn’t the same everywhere. Italy is not one unified driving experience — what works well in the countryside can be a nightmare in cities

Over the past year alone, we have personally witnessed how transportation decisions in Italy can unravel even the most carefully planned trips. From travelers stranded by nationwide rail strikes affecting millions, to guests fined after unknowingly parking in restricted zones, to recent first-hand experiences with Uber and entire blocks of cars getting towed where there were no obsvious parking zones.
