Tenuta la Parrina is a working farm situated in the Maremma region of Tuscany, surrounded by Tuscan vineyards. The estate is unique as it produces wine, cheese, olive oil, jams and jellies and also rears livestock. The estate's restaurant offers cooking courses, making it a one-of-a-kind experience in Tuscany. The rooms are beautifully furnished and offer great amenities. The estate's location is an added advantage, as it lies only a few minutes away from the beautiful coast.
The stunning town of Porto Santo Stefano and the Saturnia natural hot-springs are less than a 20-minute drive away. The estate's location allows easy access to many of Tuscany and Umbria's most beautiful sites, as well as Pisa and Rome, because of the coastal road which allows easy access to a variety of inter-connecting cross-country roads.
The estate offers some of the finest wines, olive oil, and a great location. The rooms are done in the typical Tuscan style and are truly beautiful, despite appearing basic in the photographs. Interestingly, Jacqueline Onassis and John Kennedy stayed here, and their pictures can be seen in the meeting room of the main manor house.
This is a great estate in Tuscany, with a wonderful pool set right amidst the vineyards, a great professional and very knowledgeable staff.
