These learning experiences in Italy are un-like any other and graduates walk away with an expanded knowledge and intimacy with each region we visit and learning materials that can be used for future reference. Central Italy is home to the regions of\u00a0Tuscany<\/a><\/strong><\/u>,\u00a0Umbria<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0&\u00a0Le Marche<\/a><\/strong><\/u>.\u00a0 Our journey through central Italy begins in Rome and offers visitors to the area an in depth experience of some of\u00a0Umbria<\/a>‘s<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0best kept secrets and wonderful spas. From\u00a0Umbria<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0we venture into south-eastern\u00a0Tuscany<\/a><\/strong><\/u>,\u00a0and visit the gorgeous hill-top town of\u00a0Cortona<\/a><\/strong><\/u>\u00a0which was made famous in recent years by the novel\u00a0Under the Tuscany Sun.<\/u>\u00a0\u00a0With sweeping valleys, gorgeous landscapes and beautiful lakes, south-Eastern\u00a0Tuscany<\/a><\/strong><\/u>\u00a0is a sure hit for all who visit.\u00a0 Following\u00a0Tuscany<\/a><\/strong><\/u>, we head towards the Adriatic Sea and the region known as\u00a0Le Marche<\/a><\/strong><\/u>\u00a0which is a gorgeous territory home to sweeping vineyards which roll right down to the sea. Day 1 – Meet in Rome at Ludovisi Palace Hotel at 9 AM<\/span><\/span> – Drive North Through Umbria stopping in Orvieto for the Dome & the wine tasting – Welcome dinner at Relais Villa Monte Solare<\/div>\n

This morning we will meet with you in Rome City Centre –\u00a0\u00a0Ludovisi Palace Hotel at 9\u00a0AM<\/span><\/span> with a\u00a0breakfast served on the house. We will leave from the hotel approximately\u00a0at 10\u00a0AM<\/span><\/span>\u00a0for our first stop\u00a0which will be Orvieto which is a\u00a0town located in the region of Umbria\u00a0known for some of the finest white wines and one of the greatest cathedrals in the area.<\/p>\n

In Orvieto\u00a0we will\u00a0give\u00a0you some free time for shopping and lunch not included\u00a0and then provide you a licensed tour\u00a0guide for\u00a0a brief explanation of the most famous and outstanding costruction “The Dome of Orvieto” – (The Cathedral).<\/p>\n

Following the tour\u00a0let’s go\u00a0enjoy a fantastic wine tasting offered by us\u00a0at one of the most winery’s producer in the\u00a0region of\u00a0Umbria called “Palazzone” which is right outside the town of Orvieto\u00a0wherein\u00a0you will have a site inspection of the place\u00a0as well.<\/p>\n

In the evening\u00a0you will check in to Relais Villa Monte Solare with having a welcome dinner served on the house as well (wine not included).<\/p>\n

Day 2 – Departing at 9 AM<\/span><\/span> for a site inspection at Borgo Brufa Resort and wine tasting at Relais Il Falconiere<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n

Where we visit :<\/strong>\u00a0Borgobrufa Spa Resort, Cortona, Passignano sul Trasimeno<\/div>\n
\n

This morning at 9 AM<\/span><\/span> we will depart from Relais Villa Monte Solare\u00a0to go inspecting Borgobrufa Resort which is one of our favorite properties\/suppliers that we work with. At 11 AM<\/span><\/span> from there\u00a0we will head to Tuscany and stop\u00a0at Relais\u00a0“Il Falconiere”\u00a0to enjoy a wine tasting and aprecciate their true Tuscan ospitality as much as\u00a0that\u00a0wonderful place.<\/p>\n

Following the site inspection and the\u00a0wine tasting\u00a0we will move into\u00a0Cortona City center, which was made famous by the film Under the Tuscan Sun. Here you can eat some light\u00a0tipycal\u00a0food on your own and go through the beauty of this old historical town. On the way back to the hotel according to\u00a0timing\u00a0we will make a stop in a town called “Passignano sul Trasimeno”\u00a0\u00a0which is\u00a0a breathtaking\u00a0place\u00a0situated on Lake\u00a0Trasimeno\u00a0right on the border between Tuscany and Umbria and one of the largest lakes in the\u00a0region.<\/p>\n

As long as everyone aprecciates\u00a0,\u00a0this evening during the\u00a0dinner (Not included) Gi\u00f2 Patti the\u00a0Italian singer\u00a0will perform and sing to\u00a0all of you.<\/p>\n

Day 3 – Departing at 9 AM<\/span><\/span> for a full day tour of Assisi and Gubbio<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n

After breakfast this morning at 9\u00a0AM<\/span><\/span> we depart from Relais Villa Monte Solare\u00a0heading to Assisi which is the home town of Saint Francis who’s barried here and\u00a0protects this unique\u00a0City with his heart and soul. Today you will visit the Saint Francis Church and Saint Mary of the Angels and\u00a0take a chance to\u00a0walk around for\u00a0shopping as well. After that we will move into Gubbio\u00a0which is another extraordinary and interesting City place to discover and visit. Here we will eat lunch served on the house. (wine not included).<\/p>\n

In the evening we will head back to Relais Villa Monte Solare for a bit of rest.<\/p>\n

Day 4 – Full day tour beginning at 9 AM<\/span><\/span> visiting Spello a living Fairytale and Civitella del Lago – Lake of Corbara<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n

Where we visit :<\/strong>\u00a0Spello, Civitella del Lago<\/div>\n
\n

Today will be dedicated to the beautiful towns of Spello and Civitella del Lago which are\u00a0delightful hill-top\u00a0zones\u00a0overlooking the valley and the lake of Corbara.\u00a0Spello\u00a0is known as the city of flowers and has an incredible history, not to mention some of the finest olive-oil in the region.<\/p>\n

Over the course of the day, approximately around 11 AM<\/span><\/span>, you will go on\u00a0a walking guided tour as well as an opportunity to sample many of the local products throughout the day. As the\u00a0day dedicated to eating, drinking and learning about the rich culinary traditions that Umbria is so famous in\u00a0Spello\u00a0you\u00a0will have a chance\u00a0to buy\u00a0some of the\u00a0Teresa’s local food products that she’\u00a0s been cultivating\u00a0through\u00a0her life\u00a0in the\u00a0territory.<\/p>\n

After the tour of Spello and lunch offered by us (wine not included)\u00a0we will be\u00a0heading down\u00a0to the town of Civitella\u00a0del Lago\u00a0that offers stunning views over the lake of Corbara\u00a0situated in the centre of an expansive and beautiful valley dotted by vineyards and olive groves.<\/p>\n

Here you will be stopping and take\u00a0a walk around in this very small place that\u00a0also has a unique Guiness Book of World Record for the smallest barber in the World, so be ready for a brief stroll around it.<\/p>\n

We will get back to the hotel with a deservable relax after a full day spent admiring this amazing areas of Umbria.<\/p>\n

Day 5 – Departing at 9 AM<\/span><\/span> for Norcia and familiarization with Le Marche region<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n

Where we visit :<\/strong>\u00a0Norcia, Castelluccio di Norcia, Offida<\/div>\n
This morning we depart from Relais Villa Monte Solare\u00a0at 9\u00a0AM<\/span><\/span> and head toward the Adriatic Coast through the\u00a0Appenine Mountains. We will make a stop in\u00a0Norcia,\u00a0an incredible and amazing area known for its delicious meats and cheese.\u00a0The valley is home to hundreds of wild horses who graze in the valley.\u00a0 It is truly a spectacular site to behold.\u00a0 Passing through the Monti Sibillini, we will stop in Castelluccio di\u00a0Norcia.<\/div>\n
\n

We will head towards the town overlooking the valley for a short walk and a light lunch on your own in one of the typical trattorias with great food\u00a0tastefully cooked\u00a0with delicious products from the area.<\/p>\n

From here we head into the region of Le Marche, where you will inevitably be struck by wonderful bucolic landscape, rich cultural<\/div>\n
heritage,\u00a0historic architecture and quality of the local products.<\/div>\n

We will then arrive in the City of Offida and check in to\u00a0Hotel Villa Sgariglia where we will be basing ourselves for the next 3 nights.<\/div>\n

This evening you\u00a0will enjoy the illuminated town of Offida and be surrounded by\u00a0the\u00a0magical atmosphere by\u00a0the marvelous valley.<\/p>\n

Day 6 – Departing at 9:30 AM<\/span><\/span> for a full day City tour of Urbino and shopping at the outlet in Civitanova Marche<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n

Where we visit :<\/strong>\u00a0Urbino, Civitanova Marche, Offida<\/div>\n
Today is a day dedicated to experience the beauty of Le Marche region from the very north to south and get\u00a0to know some of the amazing\u00a0towns to\u00a0offer\u00a0an experience with some of the excellent food,\u00a0wines and fashion-designed.<\/div>\n
\n

We will leave from the hotel at 9.30 AM<\/span><\/span> to go to\u00a0Urbino which is a mervolous City at the very north\u00a0of Le Marche region.
\nFrom here\u00a0we will spend the morning by\u00a0taking\u00a0you on a tour with an official guide giving you a great and deep knowledge of the area.<\/p>\n

There\u00a0we will offer you lunch (wine included)\u00a0and then\u00a0we will leave the afternoon to\u00a0you to\u00a0look around and shop at the interesting outlet located in the City of Civitanova Marche which the name derives from the region. In the late afternoon\u00a0we will head back to Offida\u00a0for a nap and after all of you\u00a0have been\u00a0well-rested\u00a0we will go down town Offida for a\u00a0wine tasting and eat dinner served on the house at the Cantina Ci\u00f9 Ci\u00f9, one of the most well-known winery-restaurants in the region of Le Marche.<\/p>\n

Day 7 – Departing at 9 AM<\/span><\/span> for a full day tour of Ascoli Piceno and Grottammare<\/h4>\n<\/div>\n

Where we visit :<\/strong>\u00a0Ascoli Piceno, Localit\u00e0 Forcella, Grottammare<\/div>\n
This morning at 9\u00a0AM<\/span><\/span> we will depart from the\u00a0hotel to begin another full day trip in Le Marche\u00a0and experience the rich\u00a0culinary delights of the region by starting to taste some\u00a0of the local pastries “Gnammy” and then go stopping\u00a0in Ascoli Piceno and be stunned by\u00a0its sites and the population history which is\u00a0much older\u00a0than the Romans. Here you will do a site inspection in one of the\u00a0hotels \u00a0that\u00a0we work regularly with.<\/div>\n
\n

You will have a chance to be taken around Ascoli Piceno and get a brief history of knowledge about the town as well as\u00a0a chance to admire one\u00a0of the most incredible waterfalls in Le Marche at the Arcera Agriturismo. This wonderfull waterfall is well-cared by Ombretta the\u00a0owner\u00a0of the place which is situated in a small town called Forcella\u00a0that we will visit today and go for\u00a0lunch
\n(wine included).<\/p>\n

On the way back to the hotel we will enjoy\u00a0Grottammare, which is a gorgeous sea-side town set high up on the hills offering spectacular views of the coast.<\/p>\n

Farewell dinner served on the house\u00a0and ready\u00a0to make a toast to this wonderful trip that we hope you have enjoyed the most from\u00a0your initial expectation.<\/p>\n

Day 8 – Ready to move from the central east coast of Italy in to the north west in the City of Turin, departing at 9 AM<\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n

This morning after breakfast we will get ready to move from the central east coast\u00a0in to the north\u00a0of Italy for the second part of our educational tour for travel professionals.
\nOur departure is at 9\u00a0AM<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>\n

Today we are hoping everyone from the past\u00a07 days they are also going to be joining\u00a0us in the North part of Italy and complete our full educational\u00a0program importantly related to travel professionals.<\/u>
\nFor those you are not, we will\u00a0drop you\u00a0off on our way to north of Italy (Airport or train station) as well as\u00a0help you\u00a0out with your\u00a0own private transfer to arrange in order to make your\u00a0safe and\u00a0confortable way\u00a0back home.<\/strong><\/p>\n

For those who are joining us from today\u00a0on for only the second part of the educational trip we will cordinate your pick up at the most convenient airport or train station on the way to northern Italy.<\/p>\n

On our way to the City of Turin we wil stop for a break\u00a0before checking in to the centrally located Grand hotel Sitea which is\u00a0in the City of Turin,\u00a0in the region of Piedmont.<\/p>\n
