Villa Tabac is on six levels, four of which have terraces. The pool is on the ground-level terrace along with a wood oven, a barbecue and a furnished area for outdoor dining. Inside it is a mix of antiques, modern furnishings and the owner's interesting collection of lamps. A maid can be arranged when booking.
The 15 minute walk to the center of Scala leads to a grocery store, a cafè bar, a restaurant and a butcher shop.
From Scala there's a bus to Ravello and Amalfi, and a hiking path leads down to Amalfi in about an hour.
To reach the Villa there are about 150 steps and that's why the owner offer the luggage transportation by dunky. The cost of transporting your luggage by donkey on arrival and departure is included in the price for arrivals till 6.30 pm. For 10 Euros each way, you can hire the donkeys to lug things to the villa during the week. The luggage service by dunky it is not garanteed in case of rain.
From Scala, Ravello is a five minute drive away; Amalfi: 20; Positano, Salerno or Paestum: 60; Sorrento: 90; Pompeii or Herculaneum: 120.

The property is made up of 3 units each one with private access:
Upper level (mezzanine apt) with 3+2 sleeps (indoor 75 mq; outdoor 15mq)
Ground level (central apt) with 6+1 sleeps (indoor 130 mq; balcony 10 mq; terrace 70 mq;
pool 40mq)
Lower level (garden apt) with 2+2 sleeps (indoor 40 mq; outdoor 200 mq)
Air conditioning available in all the bedrooms;
The mezzanine located on the upper level respect the to the ground level is made up of 2 floors and consists of:
- A bathroom with a shower;
on the second floor:
- A double bedroom connected to a single bedroom;
- A bathroom (no shower)
Ground level (central apartment)
It is located in front of the pool, is the largest apartment and is on two floors.
The first floor which leads directly to the pool and to the main terrace is composed of:
- A spacious and well equipped kitchen connected to a large living room / dining room with TV;
- a bathroom (no shower)
on the second floor:
- A double bedroom + extra bed (pouf) and bathroom with a shower, with balcony overlooking the sea and the pool area;
- A double bedroom with bathroom with a shower, with balcony overlooking the sea and the pool area;
- A double bedroom with 2 single beds or on request double bed with bathroom with a shower;
Lower level (garden apt) is made up of:
- Entrance to a living with double sofa bed and kitchen corner (not available) and a fridge;
- A bedroom with a double bed;
- A bathroom with a shower;
- Utility room with washing machine.
- A large garden with wood oven and BBQ
The pool is open from the 1st of May to the 15th of October (possibility of extending the opening date according to the weather conditions and to be agreed at time of booking)
On request, an Italian chef is available at very reasonable rates to prepare your meals.
