This very bright, charming apartment is located on the third floor of an elegant and exclusive Venetian palace and is furnished in Venetian style. A nice balcony opens on both sides of the house, overlooking the interior gardens and a canal. The living room and one bedroom are equipped with air conditioning. The apartment has a lift.
We are in one of the most beautiful and exclusive areas of the ancient city, in the Dorsoduro Sestiere, halfway between the Accademia Bridge and the Basilica della Salute, within a short distance from the Guggenheim Museum and the Punta della Dogana. The Zattere, with the wonderful promenade along the lagoon, can be reached on foot in a few minutes. This is where the Venetians enjoy the beautiful sunsets, in the cafés and ice-cream shops that spread along the promenade.
All the major artistical and cultural sites of Venice are reachable in few minutes from Dorsoduro: Piazza San Marco and the Rialto Bridge are about 15 minutes walking, whilst more remote areas of the city can be reached by boat (Vaporetto) either from the Zattere or from the Accademia, including the islands of Murano and Burano, the first known for its glass and the second for its colourful houses and lace factories.
